Summary:
This paper shows how to compute the voltage gain of a DC-DC converter operating under current-mode control in the chaotic regime using a state-density approach. Our approach invokes the fact that the chaotic sampled inductor current is ergodic, hence governed by a «probability» density, which permits time averages to be replaced by ensemble averages.
